Hello.
My experience with competitive sports led me to a career in Kinesiology in my hometown of Nanaimo BC. I enjoyed my time at Vancouver Island University and aspire to take my career further by pursuing a master's in Physical therapy.
I am now employed at Long Lake Physiotherapy working as a Kinesiologist. Along with a full caseload I engage with local sports teams, aging communities, indigenous populations, paediatrics, and anyone else in need. This portfolio is designed to share my life journey and highlight significant moments along the way, enjoy!

My Journey
Lifestyle
I've been lucky to be born and raised in beautiful Nanaimo BC. I have been blessed with a healthy, positive and active support network of friends and family.
Education
Education was my main focus, I am now applying my knowledge into the clinic. VIU provided me with an engaging and individualized experience, and I will continue to stay involved in the community.
Athletics
My sport participation started as a passionate youth, playing every sport I could. My early experiences taught me many valuable lessons and led me to a career in the field of sport. My athletics are now focused on hockey. I currently play at a recreational level while officiating all levels. I am also the officiating coordinator for the Nanaimo Women's Hockey League.
Career
I have secured a Kinesiology Position with Long Lake Physiotherapy. Along with clinical practice, I instruct team training sessions for youth athletes three times a week.
